The Nobel Laureates take center stage in Stockholm and Oslo on 10 December, when they receive the Nobel Medals, Nobel Diplomas and documents confirming the Nobel Prize amount. It will be started at 12.50 CET with the Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony from Oslo.

The 2014 World Cancer Congress kicked off, on Wednesday 3rd December, with the annual World Leaders' Summit. The topic was 'the Economic Case for Cancer Control' with more than 260 key decision makers from all over the world attending. New guidance from WHO on prevention and controlling cervical cancer was launched in the proclaimed summit as well.

On 5-9 December 2014, the 12th Asian Congress of Urology (ACU) will be convened in Iran at Kish International Convention Center. Dr. Jalil Hosseini, Board of Directors' member of Iranian Urological Association (IUA) is the Chairman of the 12th ACU which was commenced in 1990 in Japan. This series of congresses have been held every 3 years up to the 3rd congress which after, ACU was convened biennially.
