Heading a high-ranking delegation of Austria’s economic, scientific and cultural officials, Austrian President Heinz Fischer arrived in Tehran on Monday 7th September and left to Vienna on Wednesday 9th September.

On Tuesday 8th September 2015, an official meeting convened in Tehran in which Austrian President, Vice-Chancellor, Minster of Foreign Affairs, Austrian Ambassador as well as IRIMC President and other high-level Iranian officials attended.

IRIMC Department of International Affairs chaired by Dr. Zali and staffed by prominent health care professionals pursuing IRIMC global strategies was pioneered in forging active collaboration between Iranian Medical Council and its counterparts around the globe.

Earlier this year, based on the consistent efforts of IRIMC Department of International Affairs, a MoU signed between Iranian Medical Council and Health Department of Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.

Under this 3-year agreement, the types of cooperation may include reciprocal exchange of experts and prominent health care professionals, holding joint CME courses, collaborative research projects, exchange of publications, reports or other academic information, participation of Iranian and Austrian health care professionals at seminars, congresses, and events in the medical field, cooperation between hospitals, collaborative professional development and other activities as mutually agreed.
