MEDICA is the center of attraction for all those involved in the health care industry. Over 130,000 visitors from more than 120 countries are expected to again obtain information on all the current and future trends in in-patient and out-patient care at this annual event. With its numerous special events, international conference and forum program, not to mention the largest and most comprehensive product display in the industry, MEDICA is the hub of the worldwide medical trade.

For more than 40 years it has been firmly established on every expert’s calendar. According to MEDICA official website, the"MEDICA Conferences and Forums" have become an integral part of the trade fair: the MEDICA EDUCATION CONFERENCE (the largest interdisciplinary forum of Germany), the German Hospital Conference (the leading communication platform for decision-makers in German hospitals), the EUROPEAN HOSPITAL CONFERENCE (EHC) taking place every second year, the MEDICA MEDICINE + SPORTS CONFERENCE, the MEDICA PHYSIO CONFERENCE and the International Conference on Disaster and Military Medicine (DiMiMED). 
Five forums and several special shows on varied medical-technological topics are concisely presented in the halls as an attractive complement to the trade fair.

According to post MEDICA 2015 report, 4977 exhibitors presented their new products, system and services in 116738 square meters exhibition area which attracted 130123 visitors from 120 nations while 79% of exhibitors and more than half of visitors were from abroad.

Due to Facilitate participation of IRIMC registered members in the world’s largest medical trade fair; a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between IRIMC & AHK Iran. Based on this MoU, facilities will be provided for IRIMC registered members who aim to participate in recognized healthcare exhibitions held in Germany including MEDICA, IDS, EXPOPHARM, etc.

Under this MoU, the types of facilities provided by AHK Iran may include:

a)Facilitating the procedure of getting visa appointments

b)Guidance about Schengen Visa  Application Requirements

c)Checking the applicants’ documents to verify the completion of documents prior to submission to the embassy.

d)Traveling facilities including hotel reservation, discount on flight ticket and trade health insurance in condition of tour facilities from AHK Iran.

e)Providing airport transfer and Persian speaking guide for group participants.

Due to benefit from the mentioned facilities for participating in MEDICA, IRIMC registered members should contact with Iranian Medical to receive IRIMC Membership Certificate and submit it alongside other required documents to AHK Iran at their earliest convenience.  .
