The honoring ceremonies of Prof. Valiollah Mehrabi and Dr. Abbas Sheibani have been held to celebrate half-century accomplishments of renowned & influential Iranian healthcare professionals.
On September 2015, IRIMC honored Prof. Valiollah Mehrabi,
the Father of Pediatric surgery in Iran and the author of Illustrated
Encyclopedia of World Medical History.
IRIMC President paid tribute to Prof. Mehrabi and highly praised
him for his outstanding contributions to medical science over a period of a
half-century and for a life of exemplary devotion to medical education. The new
edition of the illustrated comprehensive medical encyclopedia was launched in
the mentioned honoring ceremony held by Iranian Medical Council.
On January 2016, Iranian Medical Council celebrated Dr.
Sheibani’s half-century accomplishments.
Dr. Zali mentioned Dr. Sheibani as the leading exemplar of
ethical principles and the ideal symbol of medical practice.
As the first IRIMC President after the Islamic Revolution, the
four-time MP and HOA Board Member, Dr. Sheibani played a key role in achieving
great technical and professional accomplishments in patients’ treatment
nationally.
The honoring ceremonies have been held at the Main Hall of Iranian
National Library and Archives.
