EANS 2016 will be held in Athens on 4-8 September
9th Congress of European Association of Neurosurgical Societies will be held under the theme: “Neurosurgery: From Classics to the Future” in Athens at Megaron Athens International Conference Centre on 4-8 September 2016.

The European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS) is a fast-developing independent association, both of European neurosurgical societies and of individual neurosurgeons from all over the world.

The objective of EANS is to enable its members to enhance the care they deliver to their patients by facilitating the exchange of scientific information at the highest level. In pursuit of this goal, EANS arrange a wide range of meetings, symposia and educational courses, including the European Congress of Neurosurgery and the highly regarded European Training Courses in Neurosurgery. A growing number of fellowship and observership opportunities are also available to the members, along with a comprehensive online library of neurosurgical material via the EANS Academy.

 

9th Congress of European Association of Neurosurgical Societies will be held under the theme: “Neurosurgery: From Classics to the Future” in Athens at Megaron Athens International Conference Centre on 4-8 September 2016.



Congress Scientific PROGRAMME will cover the whole neurosurgical spectrum with an in-depth look to the status of specialty. According to Congress President, EANS2016 provides an ideal opportunity to reconnect and share knowledge with colleagues and friends whilst enhancing specialists’ skill set helping their practice and improving patient care.

The official language of the meeting is English and abstract submissions and presentations must be submitted in English.

On 4 September from 7:30-12:20, the Pre-Congress Course-WFNS Neurosurgical Anatomy Committee Vascular Course- will be held composing of the following topics: Introduction, Vascular Anatomy, Angiographic Anatomy, Aneurysms, Cavernomas, AVM, Solve a Vascular Case, Anatomy Quiz and Course Evaluation.

Registration is now open and there is a considerable discount for doctors in training /nurses/students as well as EANS members. The applicants who register before 10 July 2016 will benefit from early bird registration discount.
