Founded in 1912, the International Pharmaceutical Federation (Fédération Internationale Pharmaceutique FIP) is the global body representing pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. As a non-governmental organization, FIP represents over three million pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists around the world through 139 national organizations, academic institutional and individual members. Iranian Association of pharmaceutical scientists is one of FIP member organizations.

FIP endeavors to support and organize annual world congress of pharmacy as well as a variety of symposia, and short conferences throughout the year as educational opportunities to update knowledge and skills.

Under the theme “medicines and beyond, the soul of pharmacy”, the 77th World Congress of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences will be held on 10-14 September 2017 in Seoul. The congress will be the gathering place of renowned pharmaceutical scientists and international audience of pharmacy professionals to network, influence, share insights and knowledge. The congress is aimed to go beyond the medicines and answer patients’ demand for high quality help and advice.
