On Thursday 22 December 2016, Iranian Medical Council hosted Dr. Ali Irani, the IAP President.
Iranian Medical Council (IRIMC) is the nation's largest independent
organization in the field of medicine which registers all health care
professionals (except nurses) to practice in Iran, and regulates bi or
multilateral collaborations between health care professionals & other
associations.
IRIMC strives to achieve highest possible standards in national
healthcare system and promotes medical practice and education.
As the regulatory authority and trade union for all Iranian
healthcare professionals, IRIMC actively cooperates with certified
international organizations in the field of medicine.
On Thursday 22 December 2016, an official meeting was held
between Dr. Zali, IRIMC President and Dr. Irani, the President of Indian
Association of Physiotherapists.
IRIMC President highly welcomed IAP President and highly acknowledged
the achievements of Iranian physiotherapy community. He said:”Iranian Medical
Council aims to improve national physiotherapy to a more excellent level and
forge active cooperation between Iranian physiotherapists and their
counterparts around the globe.”
Considering a long history of cooperation between two
nations, Dr. Zali expressed the willingness of Iranian Medical Council for
effective collaboration with IAP.
Dr. Irani, a renowned and internationally recognized physiotherapist
who serves as IAP President, highly appreciated warm welcome of IRIMC President
and expressed IAP desire to actively cooperate with Iranian Medical Council as
the union of Iranian physiotherapy community.
Dr. Zali was joined in the meeting by Dr. Farjoud Shokouhi, elected
member of IRIMC Supreme Council and representative of Iranian physiotherapy
community as well as IRIMC Director of Public Relations.
