Founded in 1948 in Basle, Switzerland, International Society of Internal Medicine (ISIM) comprises 63 society members from all over the world.

The purpose of the ISIM is to promote scientific knowledge and unity in Internal Medicine, to further the education of young internists and to encourage friendship between physicians from all over the world.

The main activity of ISIM is the organization of the Biannual International Congress of Internal Medicine.

The International Congresses of Internal Medicine always were outstanding events with a large attendance from the whole world. Especially when located in countries not privileged with easy international scientific exchange, the congresses give a very welcome opportunity to see and hear leading experts from all over the world.

33rd biannual World Congress of Internal Medicine will be held in Bali, Indonesia at Bali Nusa Dua Convention centre on 22-25 August 2016.

With high-quality scientific programs in a unique Balinese ambience, the coming congress is committed to promote scientific knowledge, medical advancement, and the delivery of effective healthcare in the field of Internal Medicine.

The congress brings together renowned internists as congress faculty & lecturers from 22 countries to present latest trends in internal medicine and provide a wealth of information in diverse topical areas encompassing propitious advances in this field.
