68th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Neurosurgery (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Neurochirurgie) and 7th joint meeting with the Society of British Neurological Surgeons will be held on 14-17 May 2017 in Magdeburg Exhibition Centre, Germany.

The first German scientific meeting of surgeons specialized in disorders of the nervous system, took place in Magdeburg in 1936 while the first international Joint Meeting of German neurosurgeons was organized with the Society of British Neurological Surgeons, who held their 22nd annual meeting together with German colleagues in Berlin and Breslau in 1937.

The congress brings together renowned and internationally recognized German and British Neurosurgeons and covers different aspects of neurosurgery including:

Vascular Neurosurgery

Progress of Neurosurgery in the last 80 years
