On 13th January 2015, a meeting was held between Dr. Guiso and the Scientific Council of the Pasteur Institute of Iran in Tehran at IPI Avicenna Seminar Room.
Dr.
Nicole Guiso is the Head of the Research Unit "Molecular Prevention and
Therapy of Human Diseases", Director of "Whooping cough and other
Bordetelloses" Reference Center, and "Toxinogenic Corynebacteria"
Reference Center at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, France.
Founded
in 1887 by Louis Pasteur, Institut Pasteur (Pasteur Institute in Paris) is
a unique integrated research hub fostering cooperation between scientists.
Institut Pasteur International Network brings together 32 institutes
including Pasteur Institute of Iran (IPI) which are united by the same values
aiming to reach the same objectives in favor of the health.
Located
in Tehran, Pasteur Institute of Iran (IPI) was established nearly 100 years ago
due to promote national healthcare.
There is an active cooperation between IPI and Institut Pasteur International
Network as well as WHO.
On
13th January 2015, a meeting was held between Dr. Guiso and the Scientific
Council of the Pasteur Institute of Iran in Tehran at IPI Avicenna Seminar Room.
The
meeting was convened to foster scientific cooperation between IPI and Institut
Pasteur International Network.
Later
on 13th January, Dr. Guiso made a speech about Diphtheria and Pertussis
Vaccination Strategy at Shahid Modares Hall while IPI Scientific Council
members were present at the launch.
