Organized by FDI, World Oral Health Day (WOHD) is celebrated every year on the 20th March. It is an international day to celebrate the benefits of a healthy mouth and to promote worldwide awareness of the issues around oral health and the importance of looking after oral hygiene to everyone old and young.

On the occasion of World Kidney Day; Dr. Zali, IRIMC President, acknowledged Iranian nephrologists and urologists consistent efforts and their exceptional & eminent contributions to the development of nephrology in Iran.

Geneva Conference on Person-Centered Medicine is an annual conference held in Geneva since 2008. Conference participants will be clinicians and scholars in medicine and other health fields as well as interested individuals. The 6th World Congress on Women’s Mental Health will be held in Tokyo, March 22 to 25, 2015, in conjunction with the Institute of Women’s Mental Health, Tokyo Women’s Medical University.

FDI has joined with organizations representing the world’s doctors, nurses, pharmacists and physical therapists to develop the application ‘HealthyScore’. Designed to be used in collaboration with health professionals, the app will help people set targets and track progress towards agreed health goals.

A comprehensive new meta-analysis shows that Oseltamivir, marketed as Tamiflu, in adults with influenza alleviates symptoms more swiftly, reduces risk of lower respiratory complications by 44% and hospital admission by 63% although increases the risk of nausea and vomiting.
